Thought Leadership:
Aimee is a recognized authority in stress reduction and conscious embodied leadership. Her book, Stress Less Achieve More: Simple Ways to Turn Pressure into a Positive Force in Your Life (AMACOM), draws on her 40 years of training in the energy principles and practices of aikido- the martial art of peace, psychology, meditation, and organizational consulting. It offers practical tools to transform pressure into fuel for growth, creativity, and high performance. The book has been translated into Arabic and Mandarin, and in 2017 was named one of Thrive Global’s “17 Most Inspiring Books to Read.”
Education & Mentorship:
Aimee earned her master’s degree in counseling from Boston University and completed her clinical internship at Massachusetts General Hospital under the auspices of Harvard Medical School, where she trained with Dr. Matt Dumont, then Commissioner of Mental Health for Massachusetts. She was also mentored by Dr. Michael Kami, founder of strategic planning and advisor to IBM’s leadership during its iconic turnaround. Aimee has been featured in Who’s Who in American Women and continues to inspire leaders worldwide to lead from presence, power, and purpose.
“Aimee was my Executive Coach when I was a Senior Vice President with a prominent fragrance, cosmetic and skin care developer and manufacturer. She helped chart our way while we were on an extensive and extraordinary journey towards servitude leadership. With Aimee’s significant assistance and guidance, we were able to transform into a high-performance leadership team. Along the way, amazing creativity and productivity was unleashed in our entire organization. We were able to realize what was just a dream. Aimee challenged me to grow as a leader by journeying beyond the borders of my comfort zone. This was not easy for me to do, but being the great coach she is, she was there to support, motivate and challenge me. Without a doubt, this was the pinnacle of my thirty-five-year career. My only regret was that I hadn’t met Aimee many years earlier.” Peter McHale
“As a result of the Shared Ownership for Success, our team understood clearly our commitment for each of them to have a voice in how we run our business. We had a specific to do list of specific process improvements to address which we all developed together. And, we agreed upon a methodology for our team to raise new issues and to effectively deal with them. They understood that each of them shared ownership in our success as a team. And, the business results and employee satisfaction prove that it works.”
